Show News
Guest Hosts. This was the last week with Tim Plunkett in the guest host chair. He was a great addition to the show and we hope to have him back again. Thanks Tim. Andy Blum, Senior Front End Developer at Lullabot, joins us for the next four weeks.
Show transcripts are back. Over the past few years, we have experimented with approaches for generating show transcripts. Finding a balance between cost, quality, and effort has been challenging. Working on a limited budget, automated tools have been the best approach. DaVinci Resolve recently added an AI transcription feature that works better than any tool we have tried. Outside of the usual mistakes with “Picozzi” and “Anderson-Clutz”, Resolve is pretty accurate and has allowed us to provide good, not perfect, transcripts and subtitles.
