Module of the Week
with Martin Anderson-Clutz - mandclu
The Drupal.org username module provides a simple field to accept drupal.org usernames. This behaves as a simple link field but also provides computed fields which provides user data from drupal.org.

How can someone navigate so many complex issues without getting lost or "barking up the wrong tree"?

5 Questions with Matt Glaman
Matt is our guest host for episodes 445 thru 448.
Matt has been using Drupal since 2012. He currently maintains phpstan-drupal and is the primary contributor to the drupal-rector, two tools which are used in the Drupal’s major version upgrade process.
What is your first memory of technology that impacted you?
I was lucky enough that we had a computer as a kid, some Windows 95 machine that my parents didn’t really know how to work nor did I. There was some game I loved playing, I wish I could remember it. But we had to launch it via MS-DOS for the interface to launch. It was the first time I used a terminal, at about 6 or 7. I don’t remember the game anymore, but I do remember having to find that sticky note with the set of commands to run.
What was your career before Drupal?
Before working with Drupal (or being a web developer) I was delivering beer. I had started as a merchandiser for the local distributors and then got my CDL. I had the college bar route in the county, on a good Wednesday I'd be bringing 100 kegs. One bar would get forty a week!
Tell us about your family
My wife and I will be celebrating our 14th wedding anniversary this June. We were pretty young when we got married. We have three kids, all boys. Things are wonderfully chaotic at all times, especially now that our oldest is officially a teenager. And, of course, we have three dogs and two cats tossed into the mix.
What is your favorite movie franchise?
The Jurassic Park franchise. Some of the movies haven’t been great, but I still love them. I was an avid Michael Crichton reader starting in middle school. Funnily enough, not because of Jurassic Park but Sphere. And then I learned Michael Crichton wrote Jurassic Park.

Minifigure of the Week
by Nic Laflin
71045-11
This week I would like to share 71045-1 Fierce Barbarian! This is the 11th minifigure in the 25th series of collectible minifigures. Released in 2024, this figure has a great sword! The headband reminds me of Conan the barbarian.
