What was your career before Drupal?
I was in construction, not sure I’d call it a career, but I did it through college for a few years! I focused mostly on tiling, but I did general construction too.
What books have positively impacted your career?
Honestly it wasn’t one book, but it was joining a web development book club where I met Stephen and John. I don’t even remember any of the books, just that John never read the chapter!
Outside of Drupal, what hobbies do you have?
I mean, we all know it’s Lego and Home automation! More specifically I enjoy collecting the collectible minifigure and the modular buildings themes. There is something about seeing how the same pieces can interact in unique ways to evoke wildly different settings that I love.
Tell us about your pets?
Kitako is a foxhound / beagle mix, he looks like a beagle, but he’s the size of a lab! He is incredibly smart and loves to chase squirrels, he’s never caught one though!
Do you prefer quiet or noise when working? What is your noise?
It varies depending on the task, when I’m doing deep thinking I need it to be quiet. When I am doing more mechanical work, or something I don’t need deep thought for I need something in the background. It’s usually a more documentary style youtube video or game let’s play I don’t have time to experience myself or some music.
What is your favorite movie franchise?
Star Wars and it isn’t even close, when I was a kid I watched those dozens of times. I also loved reading and have many, many extended universe books.

Drupal isn't only great open source software with an amazing community of people doing great work. It's a wonderful framework for content creation, third party integrations, structured content delivery, and so much more…
